Logic Pro X RAVEN stuck at "connecting to V-Control Pro" or "V-Control not responding"

Some times Logic Pro may not let V-Control Pro connect so RAVEN will prompt users with the "V-Control not responding" message.

If users open the V-Control Pro setups tab and don't see Logic in the "Software" area then RAVEN and V-Control Pro will not be able to connect to Logic.

  1. Right click the RAVEN icon and choose "Force Quit" or open the Dashboard and click the red "X"
  2. Quit V-Control Pro by clicking the V-Control Pro icon in the menu bar and choose quitScreen_Shot_2021-06-04_at_9.55.15_AM.png
  3. Open the Logic Controller Preferences and Delete the "RAVEN" controller.
  4. Quit Logic and then open Logic. Once Logic is open hit "Launch" in the RAVEN dashboard and users will be prompted to add V-Control Pro/RAVEN as a controller.

If none of the above steps work, users may need to reset the Logic Controller Prefs.

Hold down the Option Modifier while clicking the "Go" tab in finder. This will reveal the User Library.

Once opened, scroll to /Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs and delete this preference file, then open logic.

Logic users on 10.6 and above can try to re-installing V-Control Pro using this link: V-Control Pro
Logic 10.5 and below can use this link:  V-Control Pro

when everything is connected correctly users should see Logic showing in V-Control Pro.
