MTI2 Single Touch or Multi-Touch has stopped working in macOS
If the Single Touch or Multi-Touch seems to have randomly stopped working while it was previous working a few moments before, something may have froze or conflicted with the UPDD Touch Driver. To reset the touch driver and restart all the apps associated follow these steps.
- Open the OS X Activity Monitor and in the "VIEW" menu tab, select ALL PROCESSES.
- Search for "UPDD" in the search field and force quit the "UPDD" app that is associated with the ROOT directory.
- Allow a few moments for all the UPDD applications to open back up.
- Users should now have Single Touch and Multi-Touch action reset and working.
