Logic 11 on Sonoma/Sequoia not sending data to RAVEN, "One Way Communication"

Ever since Logic 11 came out there has been Local Network communication issues with the IPv6 and IPv4.  IPv4 uses 32-bit addresses, resulting in a limited number of unique addresses. IPv6 uses 128-bit addresses, providing a virtually infinite number of unique addresses.  

Certain macOS systems require IPv4 and some IPv6 and it seems most Intel rigs require IPv6 to be set for Logic to send data to RAVEN and and on occasion some Mac M1/M4 ARM64 computers will need this setting too. Tahoe 26.1 and higher should leave it on Default. 

If users notice that moving a fader in RAVEN controls the Logic fader, but moving a fader in Logic doesn't control RAVEN then the IP setting needs to be changed in V-Control Pro. 

 

1. Update to V-Control Pro 3.1.1.14 in the Slate Audio Center.  
    
2. Open the V-Control Pro Preferences and Select IPV4 for Intel Mac or IPV6 for Sonoma and Sequoia. Tahoe 26.1 leave it on "Default"
   
   
3. Quit V-Control Pro
4. Open V-Control Pro and Logic and RAVEN. 
5. Two way communication should now be working perfectly. 

Also, check V-Control Pro and Logic are allowed Access to the Local Network in System Preferences / Security & Privacy / Local Network.
