RAVEN Display Flickering or Popping.
If the Raven display starts to flicker there could be an issue with the graphics card or the connections. To Troubleshoot.
- Change the HDMI or VGA cable of the Raven. If using an adapter try a different one.
- Change the port of the graphics card that the Raven is plugged into.
- If on a Mac, Reset the P.R.A.M
1. Shut down your Mac.
2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3. Turn on your Mac.
4. Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears. ...
5. Release the keys. - Plug the Raven display into another computer or cable box with HDMI.
- If still flicking support an RMA for a replacement unit.
Ground Hum or Noise coming from RAVEN speakers.
Since the RAVEN Display connects to computer through HDMI and HDMI carries audio and video, it is possible a ground loop can be introduce. To Troubleshoot.
- Plug the RAVEN power cable into a different outlet.
- Use a ground lift adapter to lift the ground off the RAVEN power supply.
- Turn down the volume of the RAVEN speakers using the buttons on the back right panel of the display.
